The Colonie Police Department has released video from an armed robbery at the Cumberland Farms at 1093 Loudon Road on Dec. 8. Police are asking you to pay close attention to the unique logo on the suspect’s sweatshirt that says: “Out Wit It!”

The department is also looking for information regarding the Dec. 19 armed robbery at the Citgo Gas Station at 60 Fuller Road. The description of the suspect is similar to the Cumberland Farms robbery and could possibly be related, police said in a statement. Police can’t yet determine if the two robberies are committed by the same suspect.

Anyone with information about either robbery is urged to contact the Colonie Police Department at 783-2744.


On December 19 at 10:22, the clerk reported a subject entered the store holding what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun, police said. The subject demanded money from the clerk and is believed to have fled the store southbound on Fuller Rd. in a dark colored four-door sedan with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. No one was injured in the incident.

The subject’s description is as follows: white male in his early 20s, 5’6” – 5’7”, approximately 140lbs wearing a dark hat. The vehicle is a newer model, dark-colored four-door sedan, possibly a green Honda Accord.
