Police arrested 30 year old Nicholas Lareau after a customer at Gaffney's restaurant saw him take out an eye dropper and squirt some kind of liquid into his drink. The customer confronted Lareau, but he took off. Gaffney's security contacted Saratoga Springs Police, who later found him leaving another bar. When they searched him, they found an eye dropper, xanax pills, and a liquid that tested positive for MDMA (ecstasy).
Luckily the customer did not consume any of it and says that Lareau is a stranger to him.
Lareau is charged with attempted assault and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
