Watervliet police announced the arrest of two people they say videotaped people using the bathroom at Price Chopper on 19th Street. Police say the husband and wife team James and Valerie Hewitt recorded over 30 people using the bathroom. They also say at least one child was videotaped.
Both are free on bail, but are being charged with unlawful surveillance and endangering the welfare of a child. Anybody that thinks they may have been a victim is asked to call Watervliet police.
