Update 11:41pm: Store hours on the Best Buy website indicate they will remain closed at least through Sunday.
Best Buy shoppers were surprised to find that the Crossgates store had unexpectedly closed down on Thursday. The Times Union called the store and were greeted with a recorded message:
Due to circumstances out of our control, our store is currently closed.
The TU reached out to both mall management and Best Buy corporate, but have not heard back. Whether this is a temporary closure or permanent is unknown at this point.
