Movie Theaters In New York To Reopen

In a Saturday press conference, Governor Cuomo said movie theaters outside of New York City can re-open on October 23rd. The county infection rate must be below 2% in counties where theaters are located and capacity will be limited to 25% or 50 people per screen. Masks must be worn except when moviegoers are seated.

Movie theaters in New York have been closed since March and just last week Regal Cinemas announced they would be suspending operations of all theaters nationwide. No official word yet from cinemas on re-opening.
