On Tuesday, Regal Cinemas announced they will open two of their cinemas in the Capital Region. Crossgates and Colonie Center will be open their doors on Friday. No word on when the other Regal locations in Clifton Park Center, Aviation Mall and East Greenbush might reopen.
Scotia Cinema and the Madison Theater, both independent, plan on opening back up on Friday as well.
It remains unclear if Bowtie Cinemas, which has locations in Schenectady and Saratoga will be open this weekend.
New rules require masks to be worn except when seated and capacity not exceeding 50 people.
