American sweetheart songwriter and violinist, Lindsey Stirling, is going back on tour! Along with American pop band PVRIS, Lindsey Stirling is coming back to the Capital Region this July 13th for the first time since 2022, with her extraordinary "Snow Waltz" tour.
Her self-titled debut album has sold more than 200,000 copies in the U.S. without the backing of a major label and has gone Gold in Germany (more than 170,000 sold) and Switzerland. Being voted off 2010’s America’s Got Talent at the quarterfinals turned out to be the best thing that’s ever happened to her. Rejection simply strengthened Stirling’s resolve to be herself. On stage, Stirling moves with the grace of a ballerina but works the crowd into a frenzy, “dropping the beat” like some strange, electro-pastoral rave fairy. As stated by The Kennedy Center, "Stirling is the model of a modern independent recording artist with a formidable online presence and a powerful, symbiotic relationship with her fans."
Pvris (pronounced "Paris" and stylized PVRIS) is a pop-rock act formed by multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer Lyndsey Gunnulfsen. Over her decade-long career, Gunnulfsen has released four studio LPs: White Noise in November 2014 featuring the hits "You and I", and "My House", All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell in 2017 featuring "What's Wrong", Use Me in 2020 featuring "Hallucinations", and EVERGREEN in 2023 featuring "ANIMAL" and "GODDESS". The band's current lineup is Gunnulfsen, with Macdonald and drummer Danny Agosto playing with her live.
Providing exhilarating performances with her electric violin, Stirling brings a show you won't want to miss a second of!
