There's a new cafe that opened this week called Bard & Baker at 510 Broadway in Downtown Troy. Why is this awesome? Because on top of the traditional cafe food that they serve you can also play a variety of board games there as well. For $5 you can get access to the 470 board games that they have available. We're talking everything from Skip-Bo, Friends Trivia, Taboo, CLUE or even Scrabble.
So what's the idea behind Bard & Baker? The concept is to get people to "unplug" and actually spend some time together. I know, it seems so insane to put your phone down and actually talk to and spend time with the people that you're eating with.
To go along with all of that, there's also some killer deserts and they have a FULL liquor license.
