The famous Jack's Drive-In in Wyantskill opens tomorrow for the season! This means the warm weather is right around the corner. I know that Jack's has different meanings for different people in the Capital Region, for me it's a part of my past. I use to enjoy sliders and fries years back with my Grand Parents when I would stay with them on some weekends. They lived in South Troy and at least 3-4 times a year they would bring me to Jack's for lunch or dinner. I can remember sitting at the picnic tables with them and enjoying not only the food but their amazing company as well. We would just sit and talk, look at the falls that are right in back of Jack's, and then chat some more. I haven't been to Jack's in a few years, so I think I'll go and sit at one of the picnic tables with my kids and share some of the memories that I have of the place with them, and make some new memories myself.
