Last night local Pro Wrestler Bobby Fish made his NXT debut! This is awesome on so many levels.
Do I know Bobby? Yes I do. Was I great friends with him? No I wasn't, but I certainly have known him for a long time. Bobby's mother and my mother were roommates at St. Peter's Hospital while they were pregnant. Bobby and I also happen to share the same birthday. On top of that I played t-ball and little league with Bobby. We happen to go to the same high school and graduate together as well. In case you were wondering, we went to Colonie Central High School.
To say that I'm beyond proud of Bobby would be an understatement. Bobby has developed into one of the most popular wrestlers in Pro Wrestling in the past few years, working with Ring of Honor on top of working with a few promotions overseas. It's been pretty amazing to watch someone that I've known my whole life develop into a budding Superstar.
His move to the WWE is only fitting! Bobby, if you happen to read this, The Raiders are super proud of you! And I know your Mom and Dad are looking down on you with a HUGE smile on their face.
