What's the first thing you drink in the morning? Is it coffee? If you answered yes to that question then you should stop doing that and start your day with water first and then go to coffee. Reason is that coffee will actually dehydrate you and will tend to make you more tired instead of jump starting your day like you think it will.
The water may also help with brain function so maybe you'll actually be more focused and productive at work or school.
Save the coffee for a little later in the day when you start getting bored at work. That way you won't fall asleep at your desk.
