The Royal Wedding is happening this weekend. I think I can sort of understand the huge interest in this event but can't fully wrap my head around it. Maybe I'm jaded, maybe I'm just being a party pooper?
Why are people out of their minds crazy about this happening? I get it, Harry is part of the Royal family in England. Can someone explain to me what sort of power they actually have in England? At this point, aren't they really just a "figure head" for the country? I know he's an ambassador for England, I know that he does a lot of great things for people around the World but again I ask why the interest in his wedding?
He's a celebrity, she's a celebrity, so really isn't this just another "celebrity wedding"?
I'm sorry but I have NO interest in watching the wedding. I'm not knocking anyone who wants to watch it or is interested in the event itself. This is just my opinion. Perhaps if you could answer some of the questions that I raised in my foolish typing then maybe my interest level would change. But to me? This is no different than when any other celebrity couple got married. The only difference is that the word "Royal" is used instead of celebrity.
