Pumpkin Spice everything is already happening. Now don't get me wrong here, I'm not going to hate on the popularity of it or the fact that everyone seems to enjoy it.
What I am going to do is ask why. Why is it happening already? It's the end of August and it's still Summer. Why do we, as a society, seem to rush everything? It's not totally our fault, the corporations see this all as a quick money grab. They know the popularity of pumpkin spice so they decide to give it to you earlier. You buy it and they make money.
Back to my point though, why do we rush? I saw Halloween candy in the stores already. WHAT!? Halloween is over 2 months away. Why is it on the shelves already? There are stores that are already pushing their Christmas decorations.
We seem to have gotten to a point that we can't just enjoy each day as they happen. Maybe that's just how we've evolved as people? Think about it, the last time you went to a concert how many people were actually watching the show compared to how many had their phones out recording it? There's nothing wrong with wanting that memory saved on your phone but how about just having that memory stored in your brain for you to remember it? It's much better to watch something happen in front of you instead of watching it on the little screen on your phone.
Anyway, rant over for today. Try enjoying things a little bit more and slow your life down some. Time passes faster than most people realize. Take some time to enjoy yours.
