A Mom near St Louis has filed a Federal law suit against her sons school because he was cut from the Varsity soccer team and was not placed on the Junior Varsity team. Yes, seriously. She's claiming that he was not put on JV because of "age discrimination". Seriously, I can't even.
In her lawsuit, she's asking for "a temporary restraining order, a permanent restraining order and an injunction to order the school district to put her son on the team".

So, the coach had a tough decision to make because of the amount of players he had trying out. The child that was cut is decent but there were other players that are a little better and they made the team. Isn't this pretty much how it goes? NOT EVERYONE MAKES THE TEAM! I was cut from my Varsity baseball team as a Junior and wasn't placed on the JV team. I might have been good enough to play for JV but the coach decided to take other kids instead. It happens. This, my friends, is kind of how life works. But this Mom feels her son deserves to play for the team so she's gone ahead and filed a law suit and basically demanding that her son be placed on the team?
I'm sorry but this is absolutely foolish to me.
