Remember, not that far back, when Toys R Us closed their doors due to bankruptcy?
Well, it's looking like they might be making a comeback. There was supposed to be an auction of all their assets on Tuesday and that got cancelled. Why did they cancel it? Turns out that the investors feel they might do better by reopening the stores instead of selling it off in parts.
IF they stores do make a comeback, I'm not exactly sure how they plan on taking care of the insane debt that the company has or how they would be able to thrive against online shopping, Target and Wal Mart but I would assume that those in charge have some kind of plan.
Personally, I'd love to see Toys R Us come back. I grew up with the store and it was hard to see that once great toy store chain close down. Fingers crossed that they can get back on their feet.
