Two Women Tried To Pay For Pizza With Fake Money In Queensbury

I mean we've all looked at some "toy" money and said "this looks kinda real" but we've never tried to use it to buy stuff. That's what these two women did in Queensbury though. The two are facing charges after they tried to purchase snacks and pizza from Bean's Country Store. Now, I'd love to just go ahead and say that they're younger and foolish but I can't do that. Michael LaFountain is 36 and Stephanie Hawkins is 29. They're old enough to know better but did it anyway. Oh, excuse me, they're accused of doing this.

The story is that they used "novelty money" so I'm guessing it was something that resembled actual cash and not a $100 bill from Monopoly. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt on this one.
