The Capital Region Can Begin Phase 1 Of Reopening Tomorrow (May 20th)

Gov. Cuomo said that the Capital Region can finally begin Phase 1 of the reopening process on May 20th, or if you're reading this on May 19th, tomorrow. This comes a huge relief to everyone that has been quarantined at home since March. Though I'm sure that there are people that would like the area to just open back up and resume as we were before the COVID-19 pandemic began, that's just not how it goes. The State government will continue to monitor new cases, deaths and other criteria and if we continue on the path that we're on we will begin phase 2, 3 and then finally 4. The reopening process takes about 2 weeks per phase.

For phase 1, the business that will be able to begin to reopen are listed below. If this looks familiar, that's because I posed this list last week when the Capital Region had not met the necessary criteria to reopen.
