Casino's and gambling are back in The Capital Regions, at least at 25% capacity. Rivers will open today at 6pm but there are some stipulations. You can only enter the casino floor through the entrance near The Events Center and Landings Hotel. Slots will be up and running along with Rivers Sportsbiik but table games are not allowed at this point. Also there will be no Valet parking, The Events Center will remain closed as will The Poker Room and Johnny's To-Go.
There will be a few places open to eat however. Duke's Steakhouse will be open but with a revised menu. Also, Flipt, the burger and sandwich place will be open with a reduced menu.
Hours of operation will be a little bit different too. And by a little bit I mean, there are actual hours of operation instead of always being open. The casino will open at 8am and will close at 2am now. This will allow for the extensive cleaning that will need to take place at the end of the day.
The Landings Hotel will re-open next week and will have all of the state required protocols in place.
