Will More Storms Hit The Capital Region On Saturday?


As a good portion of us are still recovering from the storm that came through the area on Wednesday, the National Weather Service has issued a warning that we might be getting more on Saturday afternoon.

Now, keep in mind that this is the weather that we're talking about and nothing is set in stone but the potential is still there.

This is what the statement that the NWS issued -

From the National Weather Service for Saturday 10/10/20 Afternoon...

A strong cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms to the region Saturday afternoon into the evening. Some of the thunderstorms may produce wind gusts of 58 mph or higher and large hail

(1" in diameter or larger), especially for areas north of Ulster, Dutchess and Litchfield Counties. The Storms Prediction Center continues to highlight most of eastern NY and western New England for

a Marginal Risk for Severe Thunderstorms."
