Cumberland Farms On Central Ave Closed Due To COVID-19


The Cumberland Farms at 1632A Central Ave has been closed down due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19. The store closed on Sunday morning around 9am and will remain closed until the store can be sterilized and meets all of the CDC guidelines.

Cumberland Farms did release this statement about the location and it's closing

"One of Cumberland Farms’ Team Members at our 1632A Central Avenue, Colonie, NY location has informed us that they have tested positive for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are taking all appropriate steps following guidance from local health officials. We closed the store at 9:00 AM (EST) on Sunday, November 8th to be cleaned and sanitized by an industrial cleaning crew. The store will re-open in the next few days. We are grateful to all our customers for their patience and understanding during this time."

Cumberland Farms also says that all team members that work in the location have been made aware of the situation and that they should follow all CDC guideline as well.

The store is expected to reopen in the next few days.
