New COVID-19 Regulations For New York State

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced new COVID-19 guidelines for the state today to try and stop the spread of the Coronavirus. NY State has been seeing a steady increase in cases and the Governor hopes that these new guidelines will help.

Some of the new guidelines include -

Restaurants and bars, along with gyms will need to be closed by 10pm.

Private parties that take place at private residences will be capped at 10 people.

The Governor believes that those factors, listed above, are the highest spreaders of the virus at this time. The infection rate in the state has gone up to 2.93% and there have been 21 people that passed away since yesterday. At the moment there are over 1,600 people in NYS hospitalized due to the virus as well.

These changes will take effect this Friday starting at 10 pm.
