Over the weekend we made the drive out to Boston to enjoy the city and attend a dance convention. Well, my youngest daughter attended the dance convention, not me. Since she didn't have any dance classes until Saturday. we were able to enjoy a little bit of the city on Friday.
We tested their BBQ game at "The Smoke Shop" for a late lunch on Friday, walked around the South End a little bit and then in the evening went on a Ghost Tour, which was amazing. We were able to check out The Kings Chapel and the burying ground right next to the church. Then we got to see the burial site of Samuel Adams, John Hancock and Paul Revere as well along with some other historic sites.
Saturday was filled with dance for my daughter but the adults were able to get out and enjoy a great lunch at Temazcal Tequila Cantina. Then Sunday was another day of classes for my daughter, then it was back home to get some rest and prepare for the work/school week.
Here are some of the pictures I took while we were away.
