So you should probably take this with a grain of salt since I'm not a weather person, but from what I can tell we aren't going to get as much snow as we first thought. Earlier this week I had heard we could be looking at 10 inches or possibly more. Then as the week went on, the totals continued to go down. Now that doesn't mean that we aren't going to get a storm or that it won't be as bas as first thought. Because the temps will be a little "warmer" it's looking like we're going to see a decent wintery mix. So we will get some snow but we are also going to have to deal with sleet and freezing rain.
The way it's looking right now, tomorrow (Sunday) night is when this is all supposed to get started and then will continue into Monday. Driving conditions are not supposed to be all that great so maybe stay home tomorrow night if you can. With a good portion of people not having to work on Monday, that could be a very good thing as well. If you do have to leave the house then be sure to give yourself lots of time and please drive carefully.
