I love this story not just because it's local but because it's SO touching.
This week's Feel Good Friday story comes from Hawthorne.
The Daniels family got a pretty awesome surprise from Ellen DeGeneres — a $1 million surprise!
According to NBC 7 the family, who was living paycheck to paycheck submitted a dance video for one of Ellen's famous 12 Days of Giveaways. Well, it was the family's generosity and kindness that really got Ellen's attention.
Despite living paycheck to paycheck the family is constantly helping others and finding ways to give back to those in need. Both Ellen and Cheerios found that the family was deserving of $1 million for the One Million Acts of Good campaign. The Daniels recieved $500,000 and another $500,000 to pay it forward.
