Gwyneth Paltrow Opened Up About Loving Her 40s

Guggenheim International Gala Dinner, Made Possible By Dior

It's safe to say Gwyneth Paltrow is living her best life.

Her kids, who she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin, are now 12 and 14, she just got remarried to husband Brad Falchuk and has taken the time to focus on her brand, Goop, while taking a small step back from acting.

Oh, yeah, and she just opened up about why she loves being in her 40s as opposed to her 20s and 30s, which is proof that things are going juuuust fine for her.

Gwyneth, who is now 46-years-old (literally how??), talked about her age while appearing as part of panel with CNN’s Poppy Harlow at SXSW on Monday.

Gwyneth talked about the "freedom" she now feels:

“I am no longer in my 20s and 30s, I am 46 and I love being in my 40s... I think there is this incredible freedom that comes with a woman in her 40s and understanding that this is who I am and I’ve stopped worrying so much about what people think of me.”

She continued that she is able to spend more time with her family, adding that her two kids give her a "run for my money every day."

Currently, rather than focusing on acting, Gwyn is focusing on her health and her brand Goop.

“I have this incredible company, I love my role and I love my team... I love the challenges that come with it. I wake up every day [and] my days are very challenging but I feel like I have a lot of agency and I feel so thrilled by all of the challenges and so excited.”

And by the way, even though she's making Goop a priority right now, that doesn't mean she's done with acting for good!

She recently said that she never said she's "quitting" acting, she's just not focused on it full-time right now.

Yeah, the 40s look pretty good if they're anything like Gwyn's!
