It's the end of an era, as Sears has announced it will be closing its location at Colonie Center. Sears has been in financial trouble for quite a few years and has slowly been closing stores around the country.
A liquidation sale will start on June 30th.
There are a few Sears Auto Centers and Appliance Centers in the area, but now the closest Sears box store is in Wilton Mall.
We'll always remember the good times...
