Update 4:21pm: The latest Charles sighting
I was tired of hearing about all those bear sightings anyway. This is a new one. An emu (similar to an ostrich) escaped from the Berkshire Bird Paradise in Petersburgh - eastern Rensselaer County.
His name is Charles and his owner Peter Dubacher says he's very friendly and enjoys being fed and pet.
He was last seen Wednesday and they're hoping to zero in on him today so they can get him back home safe.
