East Greenbush, you lost your Friendly's. On Sunday night, doors closed on the ice cream parlor and eatery for good. This all happened as the restaurant chain has closed six locations in the northeast. Other areas losing their restaurants include Bennington, VT and Springfield Mass, the city where it was founded.
Friendly's values its guests throughout the Northeast and thanks them for their patronage through the years. We encourage Friendly's customers in these regions to visit one of the additional 200 restaurant locations across the Eastern seaboard,
Other restaurants remain in Troy, Clifton Park, Johnstown, Wilton Mall and Aviation mall.
The company said it chose to close locations that were not delivering 'the customer experience that we are working to create.'
