The Gap is another store that has been struggling for the past several years. Earlier in 2018, they announced the possible closure of hundreds of stores nationwide, and it looks like the Colonie Center location will be the first in our area to go.
The Gap Kids store will also be closing down, however both stores will stay open until an expected closing date of January 28th.
There are three other Gap stores around Albany, one in Crossgates, one on Broadway in Saratoga and a factory outlet at Mohawk Commons in Schenectady - no word on those locations yet.
