Weather sources are saying the storm(s) coming our way will only gain in strength. The first is a smaller storm expected to drop 1-3 inches of snow Thursday night into Friday morning, which could make for a messy commute.
The bigger storm will hit us Saturday through Sunday, with Albany in the cross hairs of the strongest part of the storm, which the Weather Channel says they expect the snow totals to be between 18 and 24 inches.
The National Weather Service has yet to forecast snowfall totals, but are in agreement that this will be a significant winter storm with several hazards and warnings. They've issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the area, but winter storm watches and warnings are expected as we head into the weekend.
