Leonard Hospital in Troy has sat empty and decaying for over 20 years. The abandoned structure spans across 64 acres in Troy's Lansingburgh neighborhood and finally it sounds like the building may finally be coming down. Troy Mayor Patrick Madden says the city is taking bids from contractors on asbestos removal and demolition of the building. They expect to have the current site 'shovel ready' for another project by October 1, 2019.
