If you were slowed down on your way to work in Glenville this morning, this is probably why. A truck went up in flames along Freeman's Bridge Road near Tryon Avenue just before 7am. The driver noticed a small flame coming from his 2001 Dodge Dakota while he was driving. He got out and tried to put it out with a blanket. When that didn't work, he grabbed a fire extinguisher from a nursing home close by, but when he got back the truck was already engulfed.
The truck's driver thinks so dry leaves may have caught fire under the hood and that's what caused the whole thing to go up in flames.
