I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but the National Weather Service says some parts of the area could get nailed with a pretty nasty storm this weekend. The good news, the immediate Capital Region is not expected to get much - only a dusting to an inch. However if you live or are traveling to Herkimer, Hamilton or Bennington County in VT - you could see as much as a foot of snow Friday into Saturday. In addition, there will be some pretty strong winds around the Capital Region and beyond to help complicate things a bit.
Currently, the southern Adirondacks and southern Green Mountains are under a Winter Storm Watch. Anticipated snowfall amounts are below...
