A dilapidated building in Schenectady began to crumble on Tuesday when bricks fell to the sidewalk. Crews have roped off the building at the intersection of State St. and Erie Blvd. after Chief Building Inspector said the current state of the structure is 'concerning' to him.
There are a few tenants still in business in the building, which stretches from 271 to 277 State St., but over the past few years many have moved out. Right now the sidewalk in front of the building is blocked off from foot traffic.
