It's only the second store of its kind in the state, and it will call Albany home. Amazon will be opening will be opening their Four Star store at Crossgates Mall in the very near future. The store will feature items that have received four star reviews by customers as well as popular items from books to electronics. There will not be cashiers or checkout lines, instead sensors in the store will track the items taken by customers and charge their Amazon account.
Amazon is expected to open 31 of these stores nationwide, although a firm date for the Albany store to open has not been disclosed yet. There are two positions posted on Amazon's jobs website looking for a lead sales associate and a store manager.
