With many hospitals and businesses being closed for weeks there haven't been as many people donating blood to the American Red Cross and now to prevent a summer shortage they are asking for everyone's help.
From an official release from the American Red Cross, starting today for a limited time they will be doing antibody testing for COVID-19. That will reveal if a person's immune system has the antibodies to fight the coronavirus, whether they had symptoms or not. Donors will also receive a $5 Amazon gift card for donating.
