Ever heard of the Albany Skyway? Neither did I until today. Apparently the state is giving the City of Albany over $3 Million to build this thing.
But where are they going to build it? Better yet, what in the World is it?
From what the Governor is saying, this is going to be in Downtown Albany. They're going to turn the Clinton Ave exit of 787 on the Northbound side into an elevated park that will give pedestrians and cyclists access to the Hudson River. It's also going to give people another safe option to reach the Corning Riverfront Park.
Sounds like what Albany needs right?
