Said Goodbye To My Radio Sister This Am

Today was Shanna's last day on air at our sister station 99.5 The River and I had the honor of stopping by their show to say "goodbye"

She's headed to Milwaukee to take over afternoons among other duties at one of our iHeart Stations out there.

Though I didn't get to say any of this on the air with her and Kevin, which is good because I didn't want to cry on the air, I thought I would say it all now - Shanna you are an inspiration to not only young female personalities but to everyone in this building. You have a passion for radio that seems to be diminishing with the "younger" generation in radio. You're creative mind is like nothing I've seen before. You are destine for big things in this business and I personally feel blessed that I got to be a small part of your journey. Not many know how involved you were behind the scenes, not only with The River, but all of our stations. I wish you nothing but success in your career which is very cliche but there's no other way to say it.

I know that change can be a scary thing but all you really have to do is be you and all will be okay. Thank you for the extremely kind things that you said about me this morning! I was humbled by your words.
