Ashanti and Nelly will give fans a personal deep-dive into their marriage and family in an upcoming docuseries.

According to a report Deadline published on Tuesday, January 7, the rapper and the R&B singer will be the subjects of a new show on Peacock. The docuseries will follow the couple after they got married in 2023 and welcomed a baby last July. Ashanti and Nelly will serve as executive producers of the series along with Jenny Daly and Oji Singletary of Critical Content Studios. The outlet reported that the couple began filming for the show a few months ago. As of press time, neither artist has commented on the show.

Aside from a handful of interviews, the show will be the first instance where Nelly and Ashanti open up about their relationship to the world. The couple first got together in 2003 and lasted for nearly a decade before they split in 2013. Nelly and Ashanti rekindled their relationship in 2023. The Nellyville artist confirmed their reunion during his appearance on Rasheeda's reality show "Boss Moves" last year.

The pair sparked baby rumors in December after Nelly was seen placing his hand on Ashanti's stomach during his 11th Black and White Ball. They secretly got married and found out about Ashanti's pregnancy that same month. The "Baby" singer kept her pregnancy private until she confirmed the happy news last April. She gave birth to her and Nelly's son Kareem on July 18, 2024.

There's no word on when the docuseries will air. The couple is reportedly filming the show as we speak.
