Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury is gearing up for the 2025 season by hosting a hiring event on Saturday (April 5). The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park's human resources office on Round Pond Road. The amusement park is looking to fill nearly 1,500 part-time and seasonal positions, including ride operators, lifeguards, cashiers, food and beverage workers, and more.

Applicants must be at least 14 years old and should bring two forms of identification, bank account information, and working papers if they are minors. According to NEWS10 ABC, positions start at $15.50 per hour, and no prior experience is necessary for many roles. Employees will enjoy benefits such as free park admission, paid training, in-park discounts, and scholarship opportunities.

Rebecca Wood, the park president, emphasized the diverse opportunities available, stating, "Whether you’re managing rides, lifeguarding at the water park, serving delicious food and beverages, or ensuring guests enjoy a restful stay, each role offers the chance to make a difference and discover an exciting and fun career path."

Applicants are encouraged to apply online at sixflagsjobs.com before attending the event. Six Flags Great Escape is set to open for the season on May 17.
