Kelly Clarkson shared with Ryan Seacrest she's (understandably) nervous to release her post-divorce album, Chemistry. It also marks her first album in 6 years.
Clarkson filed for divorce from husband Brandon Blackstock in June 2020 after seven years of marriage. The couple share kids River Rose and Remington Alexander.
"I'm more nervous on a personal level with everyone in my world, personally," Clarkson shared when it comes to releasing her candid new tracks. "I'm more nervous about that. ... My fans are super supportive. ... I think I'm just more nervous on a personal note because it's one of those things where I'm going to have to keep talking about it and performing."
That said, Kelly's ready for the next chapter.
"But I think I've gotten through it. ... It's hard when you think your world is going one way and then you see ... it changes. ... I've never experienced anything like that," Clarkson added. "... The hardest part is you recognizing it."
Along with the release of her album, Clarkson's also headed to Vegas for a brand new residency! Chemistry: An Intimate Evening with Kelly Clarkson will begin on July 28 and wrap on Aug. 19. General sale for the show will begin Friday, March 31, via Ticketmaster.
