This one is going to hit some areas pretty hard and others not at all. Locations located north and west of Albany are going to be the worst hit, with the potential of 18 inches by the time the storm is over.
In the immediate Capital Region, right now it looks like 2-3 inches. Meteorologists are watching every potential possibility because there are different factors at play that can change the snowfall amounts.
Also keep in mind, heavy winds are expected with this storm with gusts up to 45 mph.
