12 Year Old Helping Children Of Schoharie Crash Victims

Twelve year old Trenton Richmond had a Holiday dream where he would deck out his parents house and yard in a way that would make Clark Griswold envious. In addition, he wanted to help people in need. This year it all came together - and the people he's decided to help are three children who lost their parents in the horrific Schoharie limousine crash in October.

His mom, Amy, explains how it all came about:

We hadn’t had a chance to speak with him. And he broke down. It really rattled his cage that kids were without their parents and he couldn’t understand how that could possibly happen. It was kind of life changing for him and it kind of opened our eyes a little more.

Trenton has an incredible display of Christmas lights and decorations lighting up his family's home  at 1286 County Highway 107 in Fort Johnson. He's looking to collect $500 and 20 gifts that he will wrap himself for the kids. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the children.

The display is open now through December 22 from 6-9pm.
