The National Weather Service is keeping its eye on a pair of snow storms that could hit the Albany area hard this weekend. The first storm isn't too bad - about 1-3 inches could fall between Thursday and Friday, but the most significant storm may happen Saturday into Sunday.
The Times Union talked to meteorologist Dan Thompson at the National Weather Service, he's not saying how much to expect just yet, but 'it has the potential to be a fairly significant storm.'
So far no warnings have been issued, but the weather service has posted a Hazardous Weather Outlook from Thursday into Monday.
