O'Leary's Tavern in Troy will be closed for a while. A long while. The State Liquor Authority received complains about underage drinking in the bar and set up a sting last Friday night (April 5), in which undercover agents and Troy Police found that nearly 80 out of the 100 patrons in the bar were underage, many with fake IDs. Nearly 30 admitted to consuming alcohol.
O'Leary's had its liquor license pulled on April 10th after being cited for 30 violations - 29 for serving minors, 1 for failure to supervise.
