A video being shared on social media shows two teens sitting in a car as they are approached by an adult telling them to leave. Colonie Police say the incident happened Tuesday night around 11 in the Bergen Hills neighborhood.
The man approaches the car and says 'see that' - implying a badge, then tells them to leave. The teen driver says 'have a good night' and the man is seen punching him in the chest. After which the passenger says 'woah, you can't do that' and the man responds with a racial slur.
Colonie Police say they don't know who the man is, but are trying to identify him. They say he is not a Colonie Police officer.
