It's a massive festival that takes place every fall, however it will not happen this year. The staff of the Big E announced that this year's festivities will not take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In a statement, the Big E said they did not come to this decision lightly and tried other ideas to make it happen, but the health of the nearly one million people who visit each year must come first.
This year's fair was set to take place September 18-October 4 in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
Plans are underway for the 2021 festivities, scheduled September 17-October 3.
